  • Transition Phase Programme for project development in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy project Investments in Vietnam

 

The main purpose of the programme is to bridge the periode between the inistial project from 2012 and a large scale program predominantly financed by WB / IFC. The An Giang people’s Committee (AG) and Swedish Energy Agency (SEA), are financing the partner driven cooperation programme in Vietnam.

The programme will continue develop matchmaking to facilitate exchange of relevant expertise, technology transfer/export, and financing. The target group are e.g. project owners, project developers, market actors, authorities, financial institutions and other stakeholders.

The programme content is divided into two main parts; part A and B. Part A is focusing on initial project development and financial engineering e.g.  development of bankable business plans. Part B is focusing on exploring possibilities and barriers for CDM utilisation and development, on supporting the development of the Vietnamese “Centre of Excellence” pilot team’s capabilities and on match-making and coordination with international market actors.

  • Cooperation Programme on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Projects

Provision of capacity building and limited technical assistance for initial project development and enhanced engagement in the carbon market, including Clean Development Mechanism, in order to facilitate the realisation of energy efficiency and renewable energy applications in Vietnam. The An Giang people’s Committee and Swedish Energy Agency implements a partner driven cooperation programme in Vietnam. The programme will develop match-making to facilitate exchange of relevant expertise, technology transfer/export, and financing. The target groups are project owners, project developers, market actors, authorities, financial institutions and other project stakeholders.
